Scratch Removal / Chip Repair

Scratch removal process; 

Paint match is acquired through vin number for a perfect match. 

Scratch is touched up with paint and left to cure before checking for sinking as more paint may be needed. 

We start with the wet sanding process to flat the touch up to match the paint surface, usually with 2500-3000 grit. 

For the final step we carry out a three stage correction on this repair to remove all wet sanding scratches we put into the paint. Once this process is completed we have a scratch that is unspottable. 

(PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO A FULL PANEL RESPRAY WHICH IS USUALLY NEEDED TO REPAIR A DEEP SCRATCH. THIS PROCESS WILL SAVE YOU HUNDREDS PER PANEL OVER A RESPRAY BUT WONT BE 100% PERFECT AS IT IS A REPAIR. ALTHOUGH YOU’D HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING THE SCRATCH ONCE THIS PROCESS IS COMPLETE)
